In connection with the entry into force of the regulations concerning the eligibility for the position of special educator in schools and kindergartens, the Higher School of Management and Administration in Opole has prepared a special offer for teachers who wish to obtain eligibility in the field of special pedagogy, or to continue working as a special educator (in the case of teachers who have completed postgraduate studies or a specialized course, e.g. in the field of education and rehabilitation of persons with intellectual disabilities (oligophrenopedagogy) or education and therapy of persons with autism spectrum disorders, and have not completed a bachelor's or master's degree or a unified master's degree in special pedagogy or pedagogy, and their authorizations will cease to be valid after August 31, 2026) [1].
Offer (for teachers without a special pedagogy qualification, who have a bachelor's or master's degree or a single master's degree in a field other than special education or pedagogy):
- Possibility of admission in the academic year 2022/2023 to postgraduate studies in the field of special pedagogy in the specialties of education and rehabilitation of persons with intellectual disabilities (Oligophrenopedagogy), Education and therapy of persons with autism spectrum disorders, Pedagogical therapy (Corrective pedagogy), Early childhood development support) - a 50% discount on studies. Planned date of defense: August 2023.
- At the same time, the possibility of admission to a single master's degree program in special education starting in the academic year 2022/2023 from the 3rd semester. Anticipated graduation date: June 2026 (with the expiration of eligibility for teachers who have completed postgraduate studies or a specialized course in education and rehabilitation of persons with intellectual disabilities (oligophrenopedagogy) or education and therapy of persons with autism spectrum disorders, and have not completed first- or second-cycle studies or a unified master's degree in special pedagogy or pedagogy).
Discount for the first year of study 50%, for year II, III, IV - 10% discount. This study will last 4 years (5 years programmatically).
Thanks to this offer, as early as August 2023, teachers who have completed a 3 -semester postgraduate course in special education will be able to work as a special educator or support teacher, and with the expiration of the qualification (August 31, 2026), they will receive a master's degree in special education.

Postgraduate classes will be held on Fridays and selected Saturdays (mostly online classes via Google Meet messenger).
