Justification of the project

With the ever-increasing number of students with special educational needs in mainstream education, it is imperative to ensure that their presence becomes a positive experience that benefits both this group of students and their peers.

Fundamental to the success of school inclusion understood in this way is the competence of teachers to work with students with diverse developmental and educational needs.

Competence of graduates

Graduates of the postgraduate improvement course will gain competence in:

  • practical implementation of the model of inclusive education as quality education for all learners;
  • Practical application of educational legislation on the organization and implementation of inclusive education;
  • Preparation for working with students with diverse educational needs, including the use of the basics of special didactics in the implementation of inclusive education;
  • Conduct a functional assessment of the student to identify the student's resources, plan the support process and prepare a multi-specialist assessment of the student's functioning (WOPFU);
  • Implementation of cooperation with specialists, teachers and parents in the implementation of psychological and pedagogical assistance;
  • Adaptation of methods and ways of working with students at different educational stages (adaptation of educational requirements, adaptation of teaching materials, assessment to support the learning process);
  • working with classrooms with diverse learning needs and creating conditions for effective learning for all students using the principles of universal design;
  • the use of educational strategies to build a class team conducive to the implementation of inclusive education and the integration of a group with diverse needs and abilities;
  • documenting the psychological and pedagogical assistance provided and constructing an individual educational and therapeutic program (IPET).

Implementation of studies

Classes are conducted in the form of stationary (in the halls of ANS-WSZiA) and remote - in real time (on the GoogleMeet platform) and on the Moodle e-learning platform - at any time for the Student.

The course schedule and all organizational matters are posted on the Moodle e-learning platform. Access is possible after logging in.

On the cockpit, you should have icons with the subjects being taught in the semester. This is where the teaching materials will be available.

The course called Information Service contains organizational information on the implementation of studies, forms of credit, necessary documents, etc.

People with private email accounts on Gmail must log out of them first.

After logging in, click on the menu in the upper right corner  and select calendar. After selecting a specific date, scheduled classes should appear. There will be class schedules posted for the entire semester.

After clicking on the event, click the blue "Join at Google Meet" button

Mailbox (Gmail)

Each of you is given access to the university mailbox. After gaining access to the Google platform, please use mail in the @g.wszia.opole.pl domain. This streamlines contact with the University. You log in to the mailbox as you would to the Google Meet platform, but select "Gmail" in the menu. Using this mailbox, please correspond with the University.
